Good morning everyone! Joining with Tami and Ginny for the weekly WIP and Yarn Along.
I have several things going. Of course there are the bracelets that I have been making. My friend has also asked me to try and experiment with a different bracelet that she wants to sell. I have my baby ripple blanket, which I had to rip back because I didn't pay attention to my stitch counts until I reached the end of the row and didnt have enough stitches to complete the pattern. And I also have a granny square thrown in there for good measure. I want to work on my joining methods so I've been whipping those up on lunch breaks. I'm not reading anything at the moment but I'm thinking about re-reading a couple books. There's a crime series that I may start again by Kay Hooper.

WIP and Yarn Along
There hasn't been much if any reading this week. I won't bother posting a picture of the same book from last week. I've made slight progress on my baby ripple blanket. You can now see the three colors of the blanket. I've spent most of my time working on braceletets. My friend is going to an event next Wednesday and she can sell the bracelets there so she wants to stockpile them. I've also had orders coming in this week so trying to get everything done has been a challenge. Joining Tami and Ginny. Pop on over to see what others are working on this week.

FO Friday
Another quick check in...
As I mentioned yesterday I took on making bracelets for my friend to sell for her team to raise money. I had gotten three orders yesterday and one of them is finished today along with a bracelet for my friend. She wanted one in her favorite colors to use to sell as well. So here they are....I promise I will have knitting or crochet finished objects soon. Thats my goal! Linking up with Tami

Happy Valentine's Day and NSSKAL
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you have a fantastic day whether you are celebrating or not. Very little progress on my sock. I do have part of a heel flap. I'm going to be honest. I feel like I may have taken on a lot on my crafting plate. All the bracelets that I've been making have been to help a friend out who is trying to raise money for a charity. So most of my crafting time has gone towards making bracelets in all the different colors so that people may see the options. This weekend I'm really mainly going to focus on my socks because I am determined to make a pair this time and on the baby blanket I just started on lunch this week. you can see the entire row and a half that I started in yesterday's post. Joining in with Sarah today.
Edited to add that I jinxed myself and just got orders for 3 more bracelets.

WIP and Yarn Along
Good morning everyone! I'm running really late today so it's just a quick post. I'm still reading the same book as last week. I think I made it about a chapter further in an entire week. There's just not enough time in the day. I'm working on the NSSKAL sock (more about that tomorrow) and I just started a ripple baby blanket. Joining with Tami and Ginny Have a great day everyone!

FO Friday!
I did it! I finished the honey cowl. I may have told myself that it was going to end last night no matter how far I made it along. It's such a relief to be done with it. I have so many other projects that I want to start and I need to get going on my socks for the KAL with Sarah from Crafts from the Cwtch. So that is this weekend. I'm going to call myself an optimist and say I'll finish sock #1 or at least turn the heel! But back to the cowl. Now that it's done (minus weaving the ends which will be done tomorrow) I love it. I love the color!
I know I said it yesterday but to everyone on the East Coast stay safe! Hopefully you won't have as much snow as they're calling for.

NSSKAL #2
Ok, I have a confession to make. I haven't really worked on my sock much this past week. Notice it's still singular as in only one and only a cuff at that. As anyone who reads the blog or follows me on Instagram knows...I have been consumed by trying to finish the honey cowl. I'm getting so close and I just want it done! Go figure that I'm thinking about staying up late tonight to try and finish so that I have a FO Friday and it's supposed to be 40 degrees over the weekend so I won't need it. Talk about irony. So anyways...I did take a break from the cowl to work on my sock and I know the picture will look like I haven't touched it since last week, I promise I did! However, disaster struck. I dropped a stitch!!!! I picked it up again in my own incorrect way and we're going to see what it looks like in a couple rows. I'm hoping you won't notice a thing because at this point, it is what it is. So I'm now into the pattern of the sock and hopefully it will fly now that there's no more ribbing.
Check back tomorrow and hopefully you'll see a finished cowl. If not have a fantastic weekend and stay safe everyone on the East coast as I know you all are looking at a lot of snow coming your way.

Yarn Along and WIP

Joining in with Ginny at Small Things for Yarn Along and Tami For WIP Wednesdays. Unfortunately no new WIP's for me. I'm still chugging along on the honey cowl. I am going to love this when it's finished but I'm getting to the point that I can't stand looking at it. It just never ends! I'm starting to think that this is why I enjoy crochet more lately, it moves so much quicker than knitting does. I think my next knitting project will be with bulky yarn. But I won't let myself start anything new until I finish this cowl. I am in a bit of a reading slump. I have so many books that I haven't read but nothing looks interesting to me right now. So in the meantime I'm going to try and finish a book that I started and stopped right before Christmas because things got so hectic. It's the Boleyn Inheritance by Phillippa Gregory. I love some of her books and I'm a big fan of history or in this case historical fiction.
I am also working on my sock for the NSSKAl but that will be a post for tomorrow. Have a great day everyone!

FO Friday 1!
I do not have any knitting or crocheted finished objects but I do have a couple bracelets. Each bracelet has evolved a bit as I'm trying to make sure it's sturdy and won't break after one wear because how embarrassing would that be! The most recent bracelet (the dark purple) has a stop bead at the end by the clasp and I like this one the best as it will prevent any of the beads from coming off should the clasp come undone.

In knitting news I am still chugging away on the honey cowl. I cannot wait for this to be done. I think it's a gorgeous cowl when finished but I'm definitely ready to be done with the purling.
