Yarn Along and WIP 3/27/13

Good Morning Everyone!

I apologize for no FO Friday post last week.  That was my first day home with Diesel and it was a long day with him and his brother and sister who are not enjoying having to lay around because Diesel cannot do anything. 

I'm joining with Tami and Ginny today.  I finished my ripple baby blanket (kind of) I still have to weave in all the ends.  Since there's about 50 ends to weave I've been procrastinating.  I made a ruffle scarf this week that will appear in my FO Friday this week along with bracelets.  I'm currently working on another baby blanket and the only reading has been an anatomy textbook.  The top picture is my new blanket.  My next picture is my faithful crafty helper who watches everything I do when it involves string and lastly a picture of Diesel sitting outside yesterday.  Unfortunately that was the most excitement he had all day.

Yarn Along and WIP 3/20/13

Wow! It's been awhile since I posted.  I apologize.  Last week I worked 6 days and 5 of them were 10 hour days.  There has been no reading this past week so I am still reading the same Kay Hooper book.  I have made some progress on my baby blanket and hope to finish it this weekend.  And of course I have been working on bracelets as well. 

My dog had surgery on his leg this week so I will be taking some time off work to stay home with him while he heals.  This should make for plenty of crafting and reading time.  Here is a picture of him on the way to the vet.  He was so mad when he realized where we were going that he didn't even want to look at me.

KAL with A Stash Addict

Good morning everyone!  I apologize I was a little MIA last week with the exception of Wednesday.  I did have a couple finished bracelets but I figured I could just show those this week.  I've been a bit blah with the weather.  The snow picture from last week was from Saturn. 

In knitting news, Danielle from A Stash Addict is hosting a KAL for the simplest sweater.  If you are on Instagram you can find pictures with the hashtag #SSKAL13.  I opted to use a sweater pattern that I had already worked on once but ended up frogging out of disgust about a year ago.  You'll have to excuse the poor light. It's a bit of a dreary day here today.

WIP and Yarn Along 3/6/13

Hi everyone! I've been MIA this week so far.  It was a boring weekend with nothing blog worthy happening.  Work on Saturday, a little bit of shopping and laying around on Sunday recovering from the worst migraine headache I've ever had.  So that also means that I have not made very much progress on any of my WIP's.  Still the same ripple blanket.  Still making bracelets. I did manage to get through I believe 2 repeats of the colors on my blanket so you can get an idea now of what it's going to look like.  And last but not least I'll leave you with a picture from our snow storm.  I don't know about anyone else but I am ready for Spring!
