Good morning everyone! It's time for the weekly check in with Tami and Ginny to see what we are all reading and crafting.
Before I go any further I just wanted to say that my heart goes out to Boston and anyone who has family and friends affected by this. It truly breaks my heart.
The loss of my crafting mojo on Monday seemed so insignificant once news of Boston broke. I will say that it only lasted a day and I picked up the blanket again last night. I didn't get very far but I'm hopeful that maybe there will be a FO post for it this week but it will depend on whether I want to add a border to it. As I had mentioned in Monday's post I started a ruffle scarf but haven't really made much progress on it. I haven't frogged the pink blanket yet. It's just sitting there because I hate to rip back when I spent so much time on it. I am thinking that I might try the same stitch but holding two strands together to make it go a little faster.
As for reading, I started a James Patterson book called Merry Christmas Alex Cross. James Patterson is one of my favorite fictional crime authors and so far he is not disappointing with this book. That is all I have for today. I hope everyone has a great day and I'll see you on Friday!

So sad about Boston to be sure, but there is nothing like a good knitting project to keep one's mind focused. Hope you find your mojo. :)
