WIP and Yarn Along 4/3/13

Happy April Everyone!!

I had planned to post last Friday but that obviously did not happen! My brother flew in as an Easter surprise so the end of the week was spent catching up/driving him around since he had no vehicle.  I promise there WILL be a FO Friday post this week.  Mainly because I finally finished and edged my spring ripple blanket!!!! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter.

I am planning on opening an Etsy shop and the ripple blanket will be my first item for sale!

Now onto WIP's and reading.  Reading has pretty much been non existent for the past week unless it involved tutorials/advice on edging blankets.  I've been glaring at the textbook that I should have started last week while I was on vacation but chose not to because I wanted a mental vacation as well.  I went back to work on Monday so things are back to normal but I wouldn't have minded extending my vacation.  I started a girls baby blanket last week and have not made that much progress on it since then as you will see.  I also started a ruffle scarf in a really neat metallic black and silver color called diamonds. And as always there are bracelets in the making.

The last picture is Diesel and the cat.  He is feeling so much better! He went back to the vet and got his staples out so he can start to slowly start building up his walks until he's back to normal!

  1. I saw a woman with an armload of that kind of yarn (the black/metallic) yesterday at the craft store and I was intrigued...now that I see yours, I wish I had bought some myself LOL. The blanket is beautiful.

    1. Hi Lisa! Thanks for stopping by! The yarn is really interesting and it sells out all the time at the stores. Check back Friday and you'll see the finished scarf!

  5. Pretty pink! I knit and I make jewelry, too. My husband has been encouraging me to open an Etsy shop, but I keep talking myself out of it! Good luck with your shop! :)
