Today is WIP and Yarn Along. Joining up with Tami and Ginny today so head on over to check out what other people are working on and reading!
It's been a couple of "difficult" weeks for crafting for me. I was all over the place in what I was working on. Then I hurt my wrist. I am finally somewhat back. My wrist still bothers me a bit but it's much better than it was. It helps that I narrowed down what I am working on and I'm really only working on it during the weekend. I did a couple stitches on lunch yesterday to see if I was ready to crochet again every day and so far so good!
So I am working on the bubble gum chevron and I've actually made a little bit of progress. Last week I was in the middle of the second pink stripe. I finished that and I'm almost done with white and heading back to pink again. Not too shabby for crocheting with a sore wrist. I am also still working on hexagons for my BabyloveBrand hexagon blanket. This is going to be a longer project I think as I just make a hexagon here and there. As for reading I just started Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin. A movie was made based upon the book starring Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin. Typical romantic comedy. I think I liked the movie better so far. I feel like the book is dragging on a little more in each scene. The book is on my Kindle so I don't have a picture of it right now.
As you can see there have been some more changes to the blog. I finally found a design I liked. I was looking for a blog design for the new blog that will just be FO related. The Etsy shop that I found the layout in will be featured as a shop of the week in the future because she does some awesome work. That's all I have for today! Have a great day.
Great colours for a bubbly ripple.
ReplyDeleteCute hexies. Hope your wrist is better soon.
I am glad your wrist is feeling better. It is hard not being able to do what your love. I have the idea of making a huge blanket in my mind. I think I just need to do it even if it is slow going since I am new to crochet.
ReplyDeleteIt's so frustrating when an injury interrupts our crafting, isn't it? I'm glad you've recovered now. Your blanket is looking lovely.
ReplyDeletelooks great! :)
ReplyDeleteI love those colours. Hope your wrist will soon be fully recovered.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours you are using - especially with Chevron, they just make it 'pop'. So sorry to hear about your wrist, there is nothing worse when you love to craft than having something that prevents you from enjoying it. I do hope it mends fully soon.
ReplyDeletePretty! I'm thinking that I would like to do a chevron afghan... Yours is lovely!
